Hi, I’m Robert.

I’m a researcher working on understanding aspects of intelligence and coordination. I draw upon fields like learning theory, computational complexity theory, and statistical physics in seeking to understand what aspects of human thought and coordinations will be universal across resource-bounded, agentic systems. Some of my roles have included: • Technical lead at EigenLabs, a blockchain startup. • Research asistant and PhD candidate at University of Washington, focused on a mixture of deep learning theory and data marketplace mechanisms. • Applied physicist in the US Air Force, working with advanced optical systems such as high energy lasers, plenoptic cameras, and holographic wavefront sensors.
